Tori (she/her)
My name is Tori and I am on the SOA Leadership Team! My ult group is BTS because ever since debuting, they worked incredibly hard to achieve their dreams and listening to their music always makes me happy. My ult bias is Yoongi because of the vulnerability he shares with his fans through his music. His songs and message have helped me become more resilient so that I can be myself freely and confidently. The year I got into K-pop was 2019 because of Twice’s song Fancy and shortly after I really became obsessed with Dance the Night Away and many of their other songs. I’m obsessed with feel-good songs that just make you smile! A fun fact about me is I have a black belt in Tae Kwon-Do.
What does kpop dancing mean to you?
“It’s an opportunity to be with friends and meet new people while pushing myself to be better and stay healthy”
Jinna (she/her)
My name is Jinna and I am on the SOA Leadership Team! My ult groups are F(x) and LOONA because I love their fun, unique, and diverse discographies 💕 My ult bias is Seohyun (SNSD) because she’s always inspired me to be the best person I can be – my true role model ever since I was a kid. 😍 The year I got into kpop was around 2010 because my mom would play songs like “Nobody” – Wonder Girls and “Gee” -SNSD over and over again. I quickly fell down the K-pop rabbit hole as a result 🤭❤️ A fun fact about me is that I own every single LOONA album – yes, including all the out of print albums and individual member versions 😵💫 (My wallet is empty).
What does Kpop dancing mean to you?
“For me, K-pop dancing is about growing and improving while also connecting with a genre that I’m passionate about”

Isa (they/she)
My name is Isa and I am on the SOA Leadership Team! My ult group is LE SSERAFIM because I love their concept, choreography, and overall vibe. My ult bias is HyunA because although she’s a solo artist she’s very hardworking and adaptable which is why she’s had so much success and longevity. She is also one of my fashion inspirations and helped me to figure out how to express myself. The year I got into kpop was 2017 because I wanted to know the names of the members of BTS. A fun fact about me is that I have a baking LLC and make kpop inspired lunch box cakes.
What does Kpop dancing mean to you?
“It means having a chance to do something that brings me joy that also connects me with a huge community.”
Angel (he/they)
My name is Angel👼 and I am on the SOA Leadership Team! My ult group is Twice(obvi) because they’re consistently growing into their femininity and that is very admirable to me because when growing up women were constantly condemned for being “too girly” but femininity is a strength that I’ve learned to conquer thanks to them; my ult bias is Chaeyoung because we’re birthday twins purrrr 👯. The year I got into kpop was 2018 because I had fallen into the grasp of Blackpink, like most. More specifically, D4 was on Just Dance and I was obsessed with it. A fun fact about me is I enjoy collecting different forms of media like vinyls, cds, dvds, &
… kpop albums, i guess.
What does Kpop dancing mean to you?
“Kpop dancing is a form of discipline where I can be strict on myself but also still have fun in the process because I’m listening to my favorite songs. Especially when everything is so precise in kpop, I need to be as well :)”

Maddy (she/her)
My name is Maddy and I am on the SOA Leadership Team! My ult group is BTS because their relationship with each other is so incredible and their music is amazing and my ult bias is Yoongi because he’s the only person to ever exist that is so incredibly amazing that nobody else will ever be able to reach his level. He is also really talented in every aspect and is someone that I aspire to be. The year I got into kpop was 2017 during BTS’ YNWA era but DNA was my first BTS comeback, and Likey by TWICE was also a big comeback for me at that time! And during that time the first K-POP song that I fell in love with was 200% by AKMU! A fun fact about me is if you have a photocard on you I might take it🤭
What does Kpop dancing mean to you?
“a passion for me that i never knew i had but i am so glad that i found it as it has changed my life❤️”
